Preparation time: 20 minutes
Preheated oven: 180° C
Ingredients for 4 people (20 to 40 gougères, depending on size) :
- 140 g Comté cheese
- 250 g flour
- 75 g butter
- 25 cl water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
Put the water, butter and pinch of salt in a saucepan over low heat. Bring to the boil.
Remove from the heat, add the flour and return the pan to the low heat while stirring. You should get a dough that pulls away from the sides and has a shiny appearance.
Allow to cool.
Add the eggs, one by one. Add the comté cheese.
Then, on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, place small piles (either with a piping bag, spaced out from each other (they will grow during baking).
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for 25 minutes (cooking times vary according to the oven).
Do not open the door before the end of the baking time!
