To usher in the New Year, the Orchestra depicts the wonders our world has to offer across time, between land and sea, and all the way to the moon. As the clocks go round, spring in Buenos Aires gives way to winter in Europe, depicted by Vivaldi in the chill of the wind, the joy of being by the fire and the uncertain steps on the ice. With Debussy, we discover the beauty of the sea in three marine tableaux: the rise of the sun on the waves, the play of the waves and the dialogue of the wind with the sea... before embarking on the Artemis mission, aiming for the Moon! In a lunar fantasy by Fabien Waksman dedicated to the Quatuor Ellipsos, the Orchestra takes off on an extraordinary space adventure filled with joy and excitement, but also anxiety and amazement, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the men who set out to conquer space.
