POTE" Festival
A festival, a forum, an attitude: POTE - Playing On The Edge aims to create a genuine artistic community driven by the decompartmentalisation of classical music. Concept concerts, musical exchanges, chamber music festivals and participatory jam sessions bring together a wide and curious audience to explore new approaches.
Introducing a stimulating contemporary repertoire, putting cross-disciplinarity at the heart of an artistic and human project, bringing together musicians from the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region - amateurs, young talents or established professionals: this is the ambition of the "POTE" festival.
Edition 2024 - "The mushroom, the bird and the whale".
The theme of the 2024 edition reveals the inspiration drawn from the natural environment while highlighting the commitment of artists to the challenges facing our ecosystems. Inspired by mycelium and the elusive life of fungi, we are calling for artistic expression as a force for resilience in a changing world. Over the course of three days of celebration and creation, new imaginations will unfold as eclectic forms, styles and traditions coexist.
Once again this year, POTE is your home away from home. This unique musical experience mixes acoustic and electronic music, presents original creations and encourages everyone to get involved. Whether you're an artist, a student, an amateur musician or a spectator, you'll find this new edition resolutely invigorating.
On the programme:
- Discovery stages: These stages bring together proposals from the call for projects. They give free rein to original groups and programmes and criss-cross the city. For each discovery stage, discover several original and original artistic proposals.
- Event concerts: These are an opportunity to discover exciting contemporary works, sometimes unfairly overlooked, played by internationally renowned performers.
- A POTE-Mobile - a new project for this year's festival: the POTE sound caravan, where you can discover a "mushroomy gustatory surprise".
