Le vin et la vigne à Besançon

©

For many centuries, the people of Bisonne were occupied with wine-growing, which was the mainstay of the town's economy until at least the early 19th century. Today, only very small plots of land are used for winegrowing, but the memory of this activity is still present in the place names of the streets, the architecture of some of the houses and the various sculptures and decorations that can still be admired. This visit to the heart of the city will take you back to the long history of wine in Besançon.

Meeting point 3pm in front of Fort Griffon.
Price: €9 Booking required from the Tourist Office online or at the ticket office. Tickets cannot be purchased from the guide.
