The Théâtre de la Clairière troupe brings to life the history of Thoraise, its castle and the surrounding area. The audience is led on a stroll punctuated by a succession of scenes and interludes, from the town hall to the castle grounds. Symbolic figures such as Marguerite de Granvelle, Émilie du Châtelet, Voltaire, Jouffroy d'Abbans and Sister Marthe are evoked. Familiar characters from key events in the region guide visitors back in time, from prehistoric times with the bear in the Osselle cave to the 1930s in the lounge of La Reine Pédauque restaurant. The tour ends with an evocation of the winegrowers, pink cherry trees and white apple trees of yesteryear... With 10 actors and musicians. Directed by Pierre Louis.
