A la découverte des chauves-souris de la Citadelle

Bats are protected species, little-known and often unloved. The EPTB Saône & Doubs invites you to come and discover their fascinating world (diversity of species, habitats, food, threats to them, how they travel, etc.) through a conference presented by the CPEPESC Franche-Comté. An underground passage in the Citadelle is part of the Natura 2000 "Moyenne Vallée du Doubs" site, as it is home to a colony of female great rhinolophs that use the site to give birth and raise their young. As part of the project to renew the lighting at the Citadelle without disrupting biodiversity, you are also invited to take part in the monitoring of individuals after they have fledged, using devices that enable them to be heard. This will enable us to understand and analyse the birds' movements from different vantage points. This knowledge will enable us to adapt the lighting project so as not to disturb them. Gates to the Citadelle open at 7.45pm. Meet at Parc Saint-Étienne. For children aged 10 and over. Duration: 3 hours (8-11pm). Free event, registration required on the Citadelle website: https://billetterie.citadelle.com/fr-FR/produits *Depending on weather conditions, the lecture may be postponed until Tuesday 23 July.
