Saint John's Cathedral is home to masterpieces of the Renaissance. These Flemish, Italian and German works, commissioned from prestigious artists such as the painter Fra Bartoloméo (1472-1517) or the German sculptor Conrad Meit (circa 1480-1550), bear witness to the taste for the arts shown by the great families of Franche-Comté.
